I paint from inspiration. The world in which I live drives me to create.

Whether it is the people I meet or the places I visit there is always something inspiring me, changing me, some emotion I feel I need to share with others.

I paint because that is how I can capture the rawness of the world around me.

I struggle with a way to put into words the emotions which I feel and have felt in my life.

Awe, hurt, sadness, frustration, beauty, love, harmony.

What I cannot explain in words I explain in color, texture, and movement.

I pick up my brushes, I close my eyes and I feel, I feel the world around me in all its glory, or all its misery.

When I look at my paintings I feel those emotions, the one I have no words for and I am content.
